Mutabaruka is a Jamaican Rastafarian dub poet, musician, actor, educator, and talk-show host. In his career, he developed two of Jamaica’s most popular radio programmes, The Cutting Edge and Stepping Razor. His musical career includes 15 albums and several historic live performances. Most recently, he was featured in a 2021 single, “Guns Navarone” by Sean Paul feat. Jesse Royal, and Stonebwoy. Mutabaruka also starred in the award-winning movie Sankofa and had a supporting role in numerous films including the Bob Marley: One Love movie. Mutabaruka’s work is dedicated to politics, culture, social oppression, racism, sexism, religion, poverty, and Black liberation.
